A New Standard for Active Family Entertainment

As Singapore's family entertainment market continues to evolve, investors are seeking more than a traditional commercial indoor playground. Today's visitors expect immersive attractions that combine physical activity, technology, and social interaction. Level Up Ninja Challenge was created to meet this demand by integrating a professionally designed ninja course, trampoline arena, interactive sports games, climbing challenges, and digital attractions into one destination. Every obstacle is carefully planned to encourage balance, agility, strength, and teamwork, making the experience equally appealing to children, teenagers, and adults. Working closely with Woozone Playground, the project was developed as a turnkey family entertainment center that maximizes visitor engagement, extends dwell time, encourages repeat visits, and delivers long-term commercial value for shopping malls and entertainment investors.

Designing Around Height, Space and Experience

Located within Singapore Sports Hub, Kallang Wave Mall offers strong visitor traffic, a family-focused customer base, and an open retail layout with excellent visibility. These advantages made it a suitable location for Level Up Ninja Challenge. The project required a 20,000–30,000 sq.ft. space with sufficient ceiling height to accommodate 14 attractions, including a professional ninja course, trampoline arena, simulation equipment, karaoke rooms, and interactive play zones. The main design challenge was to maximize the available space while integrating AI, AR, and VR attractions that could appeal not only to children, but also to teenagers and adult visitors.

Vertical Adventure Playground Design

To maximize both commercial value and player experience, Woozone Playground designed the centerpiece of Level Up Ninja Challenge as a multi-level indoor adventure park that fully utilizes the venue's generous ceiling height. The layout combines a professional ninja course, climbing obstacles, spiral tube slides, elevated walkways, and interactive indoor playground elements into one continuous adventure route. Unlike traditional modular indoor play structures, the vertical design creates more play opportunities while reducing floor space requirements. This intelligent use of space increases visitor capacity, improves circulation, and delivers a more exciting challenge for children, teenagers, and families visiting the family entertainment center.

Ninja Course & Trampoline Arena

•  Ninja courses and trampolines have long been regular features in Family Entertainment Centers (FECs). These two entertainment attractions, with their enjoyable experiences, make many visitors reluctant to leave. While fun is one way to attract foot traffic, the safety compliance of these attractions is also a crucial element. The Ninja Course facilities and Trampoline Arena facilities provided by Woozone Playground are both equipped with cushioning systems that meet ASTM/EN standards.
•  The design of ninja courses even more strictly follows safety compliance standards because this area attracts not only casual visitors but also professional athletes. The obstacles in the ninja course activity area include wobbly surfaces, spinning rings, tangled walls, and slow-moving racetracks. High-difficulty obstacles such as challenging rings and vertical climbing walls greatly stimulate players' competitive mindset. This atmosphere that triggers visitors' competitive spirit is not only attractive to teenagers but also favored by companies for team-building activities through such competitive events. This has expanded the customer base that Level Up Ninja Challenge attracts, significantly broadening the profit margins.

Instagrammable Macaron Ball Pit

•  Ball pits have always been attractive to children. Therefore, when designing this area, the Woozone team prioritized safety, using high-quality materials and adhering to strict production standards.
•  In some ball pit projects, the design team has used healthy and non-toxic PU leather and high-density EPE foam. In the Level Up Ninja Challenge project, the balls filling the pit are healthy, non-toxic, and high-density. Woozone Playground's products meet North American and European Union standards, such as ASTM, except for some facilities that are customized according to customer needs; thus, customers need to apply for safety certifications after considering the costs.
